Yadkin River Basin (HUC 03040103)

Clearwater Mitigation restored, enhanced, and preserved over 8,700 linear feet of stream channel and four acres of wetlands, planting over 31,000 native hardwoods within the 32-acre Bull Chute project spread over eight different parcels with four sets of land owners for the North Carolina Division of Mitigation Services (NCDMS).

This included water drinkers for cattle, cattle fencing, and stream crossings for the land owners, which allows for cattle grazing outside of the project.

Construction was completed in 2022 and is meeting all success criteria.
