Neuse River Basin, (HUC 03020203)

Clearwater Mitigation delivered 109% of the 510,000 riparian buffer credits requested by the North Carolina Division of Mitigation Services (NCDMS) via the restoration and enhancement of riparian buffer along 4,100 feet of unnamed tributaries of the Little Contentnea Creek, planting over 8,000 native hardwood trees.

Construction was completed in 2019, with the five years of monitoring to be completed and closed out in 2023.
