The 25-acre project delivered 2,208 stream credits and 14.30 acres of riparian wetland mitigation credits to the North Carolina Division of Mitigation Services (NCDMS).

Construction was completed in 2023, returning the once-channelized stream system to its natural valley and reconnecting with its floodplain, along with the planting of over 16,000 hardwoods native to the coastal region of North Carolina, which included Atlantic White Cedar.
